ConstructionSkills Approved Five Day Site Management Safety Training Scheme Course

We are an approved provider for the Site Safety Plus courses which includes the ConstructionSkills five day Site Management Safety Training Scheme Course.

This course is designed for the persons responsible for organising, planning, monitoring and controlling a workforce including foremans, site mangers, project managers, supervisors as well as proprietors of smaller companies.

The course will provide training and information on The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and all other legislation relevant to the Construction Industry. It covers aspects which affect safe working in the construction, building and civil engineering industries and focuses on the necessary control measures and communication systems to maintain a safe working environment.

Course Fee £660.00 including VAT

The course fee includes all materials needed for the course including supplying a copy of the GE700. Tea & coffee are supplied by the centre and a light buffet lunch "pub grub" is provided from our local establishment The Fountaine Inn at Linton.

ConstructionSkills Two day re-certification Site Management Safety Training Scheme Course

Holders of the Five Day Certificate will need to renew this every 5 years before expiry of your exiting certificate and this two day refresher course aims to bring your knowledge up to date with regards legislation changes and their impacts.

Course Fee £265 including VAT

ConstructionSkills Health and Safety Awareness One Day Course

The objective of this course is to introduce individuals who have just begun or are about to work in the construction industry. The one day course covers health, safety and welfare issues, understanding potential hazards and the responsibility to look after themselves. This course provides a practical summery and is an excellent course for individuals beginning their career within this industry.

Course Fee £90.00 Plus VAT (£105.75 including VAT)

SJN Asbestos Awareness

The Asbestos Awareness Training Course is designed to provide employers, building managers and those responsible for Health & Safety with an understanding of the legal and practical requirements to protect themselves, their employees and visitors from the risks associated with asbestos on their premises. This course covers the types and properties of asbestos, health effects of exposure to asbestos, uses and likely occurrences of asbestos, identification and location of asbestos in buildings and asbestos containing materials and products.
